Download ASTER or STRM Images from EARTHDATA NASA

We will review a fairly simple way to download satellite images, for the studies and/or purposes they need to perform, first we go to the following url: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/searchnnOnce there we have enough options to select the area where we want the images, in this case we will use a simple rectangle, however I quite like the option of using a shape, you simply have to put together the shape with all your files in a zip and drop it on the map, automatically recognize it and show the selected area, but, returning to the example, we select “Retangle” as shown in the image:nnnnOnce we have the rectangle drawn, we simply write the product we are looking for, in this example “SRTM” then, now we will have something like this:nnnnIf you notice, at the bottom of the site, it is possible to see the product that is available for selection, in this case we will choose the product from 1 arc second and we will give it to “Download Data” that appears in green, as shown by the following image:nnnnIf you are not logged in with your Erathdata account, you will be asked to login, if you are not registered, it is mandatory to be, although it is free of charge so you must:nnOnce we pass the login screen, we will see two options for downloading, in this case we will choose “Direct Download”:nnnnY on the next screen we will already be able to start downloading, have several download options such as viewing the links of each image, or downloading a file with the links. Additionally you can download a download script of the data:nnnnWe hope this tutorial has been helpful to you, if you have problems downloading the images, do not hesitate to leave the questions in the comments.
